Ibex again!

Sometimes it happens to me that some photographic releases don't leave me satisfied. I am left with the feeling of not having made good use of the situation and that I could have brought home better shots. The last time I had this vaguely bitter aftertaste left it was during the photo release in looking for ibexes during Easter morning.

In that case the problem was dictated by having spotted a few specimens of ibex and above all by having had to face bad light conditions, which had forced me to work at high ISO to the detriment of image quality of photographs.
On other occasions, but perhaps I should say that a higher or lower percentage always happens to me, I feel I have made mistakes and that I could have gotten better results.

The fact is that on April 25, also pushed by a splash of snow at relatively low altitudes, I decide to return to the Vallone di Sea to try to take some better photos than those taken at Easter.

I walk up to the second plateau, surrounded by the mountains with their steep walls. Arrived at the wooden bridge over the stream and the nearby huts, I see a dozen male ibex intent on eating the buds of some bushes.

I spend an hour taking pictures. Apart from some initial whistles, the ibex do not care about my presence and this helps to give me that sense of peace and serenity that only the mountain and its nature can offer me. While I'm coming back, I ask to me if this time photographs will be better and immediately I tell myself that on many occasions the shooting point could have been better, that I should have set them better, etc ...

After all, what counts is having spent another day in the midst of the wonderful nature of our valley.
