Following the Covid-19 regulation, which allows second home owners to reach them, my partner Giulia and her two children Viky and Andrea, organized a trip to Chialamberto on the occasion of the last weekend. While Saturday afternoon we only took a short walk around the house, useful in any case to take a breath of oxygen after a long period of reclusion, for Sunday morning I had to keep faith with the promise made to Andrea: to search roe deers along the road that leads to Vonzo.
Saturday evening after dinner I say, pompously and solemnly, to Andrea: "Look, I'll set the alarm at 6 tomorrow, are you really sure you can get up so early? You're not used to it like me!". Andrea seems convinced, so we all go to sleep.
I'm sleeping deeply that a low voice wakes me up. It is Andrea who reminds me that it is six in the morning and that we have to photograph roe deers... what a bad moment for me! I go towards the kitchen where I find Andrea, already perfectly ready to go out. "Good Andrea! I had set the alarm but you anticipated me!". I have the impression that Andrea doesn't believe to me at all but I show indifference.
We count 33 roe deers along the Chialamberto-Vonzo route. Andrea, a 12 years old child, is very excited and happy, he really likes nature and the outdoors.
Once in Vonzo we leave the car in the parking in front of the church to take the path that leads to Alpe Soglio. A short trekking but Alpe Soglio always offers a splendid view of the Val Grande di Lanzo and is always worth a visit. See you next time!
